Early example of humour at work in this image which was created for a group exhibition 'Picture This' where it was sold. I am influenced by cave, fresco and icon paintings and have used them for inspiration many times. I wanted some of my work to have an aged appearance to simulate the authority of the past. Use of texture stimulates my creativity and makes me feel that my work is linked to architectural forms.
