I had to read the manuscript (dire) and negotiate the art directors briefing. I was asked to produce a quite specific rough and did so. I was then told to produce a revised image that combined 2 photographs supplied by the client. I did not enjoy making this image and feel that If I had been left to my own devices I would have been able to construct a solution that was more appropriate to the main theme of the plot.
